Rules & Regulations

The game involves the online purchase of 50/50 draw raffle tickets through an electronic raffle system (ERS) approved by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) and operated by charitable gaming supplier Raffle Nexus Canada Inc. The draw is conducted using the same ERS.

The winning number is determined by a random number generator software integral to the ERS. Only one winning number will be drawn.

Ticket sales will commence on Friday January 2, 2026.

Ticket prices are:

• 3 for $10
• 10 for $25
• 25 for $50
• 100 for $100

The Early Bird Draw will occur on Monday February 23, 2026 at 12 noon EST at Rotary Hub/Common Roof 199 Campbell St. Collingwood Ontario L9Y 4J9.

Ticket sales will end at 8:00pm EST on Saturday March 14, 2026. The draw will occur on Saturday March 14, 2026, at 9:00pm EST at Royal Canadian Legion 490 Ontario St, Collingwood Ontario L9Y 1N6.

The amount of the 50/50 draw prize will be determined based on the total value of all draw tickets sold. The winner receives 50% of the total revenue collected through the sale of 50/50 draw tickets, guaranteed minimum prize of $2,500.00.

Ticket purchasers must be in the Province of Ontario and at least 18 years of age at the time of ticket purchase. Tickets cannot be purchased in the name of persons under 18 years of age. By purchasing a lottery ticket, purchasers acknowledge that they have read, understand and agree to the lottery rules and regulations.

Ticket purchasers will receive a purchase receipt that includes their 50/50 draw numbers. Draw numbers are determined by the electronic raffle system. Purchasers cannot request specific numbers as numbers are generated randomly.

Ticket purchase implies consent for the Rotary Club of Collingwood South Georgian Bay to release the winner’s name, municipality of residence, and likeness for promotional and official reporting purposes.

The winning number will be published at www.rotarysgb.org not later than the day after the draw. The winner will be notified by mail, email or phone within ten days of the draw and provided instructions about how to claim their prize. Prize must be accepted as awarded and claimed within six months of the draw date. Draw winner must provide verification of their identity and age, using a valid provincial or federal photo identification document (i.e., driver’s license, passport, etc.), to claim their prize.

Persons or companies involved in the conduct or management of this raffle lottery are prohibited from purchasing a ticket.

A neutral third party (that is, a person who has not purchased a ticket) will initiate the draw sequence using the ERS dashboard. In the unlikely event that the draw is postponed due to technical difficulty, power interruption, emergency or other unforeseen event, the Rotary Club of Collingwood South Georgian Bay will remedy the situation, then conduct the draw and announce the winner at the earliest possible opportunity.

The Rotary Club of Collingwood South Georgian Bay is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information.

The Club will use ticket purchaser’s personal information to administer the lottery. The Club will also use personal information to send current and future lottery-related communications to ticket purchasers who provide express consent to use their personal information for that specific purpose.

Distribution of Proceeds

Proceeds from the lottery will be distributed amongst registered Canadian charities operating in Ontario as shown on this list. Program selection will take place using the Club's application and funding process. The amount awarded to each charity will be determined by the Rotary Club of Collingwood South Georgian Bay when the lottery is complete.
